Each dot is one product’s market — its closest comparable products. Vertical: the change in those comparable products’ prices over the selected window (the product’s own price is excluded). Horizontal: how many distinct vendors compete with it, on a log scale. Moves inside ±5% are hidden by default — at that size they are often currency translation rather than a genuine repricing (“Show ±5% band” reveals them). Hot: comparable prices up ≥5% where competition is sparse (bottom 40% of vendor density). Cold: down ≥5% where it is crowded (top 40%). Small markets always show how many priced comparables the number rests on.

mcp_opencode: comparable product prices moved +82.2% in 30d — based on 4 comparable products with price history, 26 competing vendors.
How is this calculated?
The trend for each product is a chained like-for-like index over its comparable products (its own price excluded) — same methodology as the AEPI, scoped to one market. Small markets always show how many priced comparables the number rests on. Not investment or pricing advice.
